Sous Chef – Package of £37,000 – Hourly Paid – Michelin Recommended Gastro Pub – London
This very popular gastro pub, which is part of an award winning group, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join its brigade. You will be creating fine modern British cuisine to a Michelin standard using only fresh, seasonal produce, all of which are locally sourced. This establishment also sources the best meats from local farms, which are all butchered, smoked and cured on site. You must be from a strong fine dining background, ideally of 1/2 AA Rosette standards.
As Sous Chef, you will be working closely with the head chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen as well as be involved in the training and development of the junior chefs in the brigade. You will also be responsible for running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
You will be contracted for 48 hours per week, but has a senior staff member, you will be asked to work overtime when needed, and this will be paid at an hourly rate on the basic salary. An attractive salary package of £37,000 per annum is available for the right Sous Chef.
